Turin hosted the 56th European Commodities Exchange for two days in October 2016, attracting 3,000 top international professionals in the agrifood commodities sector to an event covering 11,000 sq. m of exhibition space. The Commodities Exchange is the principal European event where professionals from cereal producers, processors, dealers, importers and exporters, providers of related services, market analysts, brokers, maritime logistics companies, road and rail transport companies and banking and insurance services can meet to share views and experiences.
To use a multidisciplinary team to take care of every aspect of the planning and organisation of an event that had returned to Italy after 10 years. Starting with sector research, the design of the exhibition area, the sales management of the stand spaces and the finalisation of important economic partnerships at European level, a communications and marketing strategy was formulated that was aligned with market developments, meeting the client’s needs and the interests of the professionals involved.
